Yesterday, I received a letter from Dolphin saying they've just released version 9 of Hal, SuperNova, Lunar and LunarPlus. Supposedly, they have a huge range of new features, most importantly, things for browsing the web. I got Version 8 of Hal as an upgrade to 6, but didn't have much time to play with it cause I got my Macbook very soon afterword. So I'm wondering if this is worth buying. Has anyone noticed any differences? For those interested, you can download demos at

Tell me your thoughts.

Let us know how it goes. I've always been a fan of Dolphin stuff, even though it does have a few minor limitations.

internet navigation started working well in v 6.53. It was then worked on in 701, 703 and 803; after this it was rewritten for v9.
Imho, the improovment in internet navigation is worth the upgrade from 8 to 9 on top of this, you'll be able to upgrade from 8 to 9 there by not paying the full price.
If you have any more spasific questions im me.

Yeah. Definitely interested. I hardly use Windows anymore, but I'd hate to miss the upgrade and then not be able to get the next one. I think it works for two upgrades but anyway. A little sad that I never even got to use 8, but I guess I don't have to worry about licensing that one now since I'll have the new one. Opa.
